Hebrew needs a bigger model than English — the first run downloads roughly 250 MB, then caches it.

01 Being straight about Hebrew

How good is this, really?

Usable for clear Hebrew speech, and genuinely private. But Hebrew is harder than English for every speech model, and a browser-sized one shows it: expect mistakes on names, on numbers, and wherever two people talk over each other.

How much better is the app?

Measurably. On the same Hebrew clip this page's model got 13.7% of words wrong; Kika's own transcription got 3.9%, and was the only one we tested that kept both the numbers and the nouns intact. It runs server-side and costs us per minute, which is the honest reason a free anonymous page cannot use it — we published the whole benchmark.

Hebrew and English in one sentence

Israeli work calls switch languages constantly, usually mid-sentence and usually on exactly the technical words you most want transcribed. This page is pinned to Hebrew and will render English words phonetically. The app handles the mix properly.

Does my recording leave the device?

No. The model comes to your browser rather than your audio going to a server. For a recording of a client call or an interview, that distinction is the entire point.

This tool forgets. Kika doesn't.

A transcript tells you what was said. It won't tell you what you promised.

This page sees one file, in isolation, and forgets it when you close the tab. Kika sits on your side of every call — no bot joins — and afterwards connects what was said to everything said before it.

What was decided — and why
Not just the conclusion. The trade-off behind it, so you can defend it in six weeks instead of re-arguing it.
What you owe them
Checked against what actually shipped, so it stops chasing work you already delivered.
What they owe you
With the age on it, oldest first.
What has gone quiet
A promise nobody has mentioned in three weeks. Only a memory can notice something that stopped being said.

Five minutes before your next call, that becomes a brief — every line attributed to the meeting and date it came from, so you can check it rather than trust it. How we build it →
