Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Kika (the "Service"). By downloading, signing in, or using Kika, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. Questions: amitlavi16@gmail.com.
The Service
Kika is a desktop assistant that listens to your meetings, transcribes them, suggests what to say in real time, looks things up on the web, and writes post-meeting notes. Features may change over time.
Your account
You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to it secure. You must be at least 16 and able to form a binding contract.
Recording & consent — your responsibility
Kika transcribes meeting audio, including other participants. Recording and transcribing conversations is regulated differently across countries and states, and some places require the consent of everyone on the call. You are solely responsible for complying with all laws that apply to you and for obtaining any consent required before using Kika in a conversation. You agree not to use Kika for any unlawful purpose.
Acceptable use
- Don't use Kika to break the law or infringe others' rights.
- Don't attempt to extract our API keys, abuse our infrastructure, or resell the Service.
- Don't use Kika to record people who have not consented where their consent is required.
Plans, billing & cancellation
- Free includes a set number of live minutes per month at no cost.
- Pro is a recurring monthly subscription (currently $20/month) that auto-renews each month until you cancel. Billing is handled by our payment processor, Polar.
- You can cancel anytime; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Prices may change with notice for future periods.
AI output — no guarantees
Kika's suggestions, look-ups, transcripts, and notes are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. They are not professional (legal, financial, medical, or other) advice. Always use your own judgement and verify anything important before relying on it.
Your content
You keep ownership of your meeting content. You grant us the limited right to process it solely to provide the Service (as described in our Privacy Policy). You can delete individual meetings or your entire account, and all associated data, at any time from the app.
Our intellectual property
The Kika app, brand, and software are owned by us and protected by law. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks or code beyond using the Service as intended.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You can stop using Kika and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that harms others or our infrastructure.
Changes
We may update these Terms; we'll update the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
